SolFarm installs solar energy systems throughout the WNC area and, occasionally, SC and TN. Traveling and overnight stays for installations tend to be required once every few weeks. This is a full time position and requires that you live in the area permanently.
We are searching for detail-oriented, team-focused individuals to join our solar installation crew. Previous installation experience not required but preferred. In lieu of solar specific experience, electrical, carpentry and roofing experience are welcome. Installers often work on rooftops, so being comfortable with heights is a must.
A clean driving record is required. Must live near Asheville, NC. No relocation assistance provided. This is a full-time position in Asheville, NC; this is not temporary work for an individual solar energy project.
In addition to solar energy, SolFarm wires new construction homes in the Asheville region.
We are searching for an experienced residential electrician with conduit bending skills. Solar experience is a plus but not required. On the job solar energy training will be made available. Electrical license is not required. A current City Card, however, is preferred.
